Coats for Kids November 2019
Coats for Kids is an annual drive that distributes warm coats, mittens, hats, and scarves for children in need. The coat drive is collaboratively gathered by volunteer businesses / sponsors, cleaned, and then finally distributed by the Salvation Army to children across Cobourg. We-FIx-U strongly believes in giving back to the community and has continued to support this drive for many years. We would like to thank those who dropped off warm clothing at our Cobourg and Port Hope clinics . Below is an exercpt from the Salvation Army to us.
I wanted to take this opportunity to say Thank You for your participation and support of the Coats For Kids Campaign 2019. The response from the community was truly amazing this year. The community always comes through to help those in need.
During this years campaign were able to distribute the following items:
Coats – 637
Hats – 666
Mitts – 320 pairs
Scarves – 671
Boots – 104 pairs
Snowsuits/pants – 82
Because we received so many donations we are able to keep a small supply on hand to hand out during the winter season.
We can’t say Thank You enough for all you do to promote this great program. I’ve attached a certificate of recognition. We hope we can continue to partner with you in the years to come.
Blessings,
Lisa Graham
